Christ University is a private campus in Bangalore. It has Grade A accreditation from the NAAC. This campus, formerly the Christ Institute of Management, provides more than 20 undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate-level courses in a variety of subjects, including management, law, science, the arts, commerce & accounting, and computers & IT.
Unlike a majority of universities and institutes, this campus of Christ deemed-to-be University offers a trimester system across all its courses. This format gives the students a glimpse of the pace and quality of work that is expected to be delivered by them in the outside world. Admissions usually begin in April for all UG and PG programmes and in October for the next academic year’s MBA. One of the chief USPs of this deemed-to-be University is its Centre for Counselling and Health Services, which is a student-support service aiming at helping students adapt and make the best use of the learning environment.
The Christ University's goal is to identify deserving students for scholarships to support them in their academic and extracurricular endeavours while they are enrolled in CHRIST (Deemed to be University).
Merit Scholarship:
Applicants must have an outstanding academic record, have received First Class grades in each of the preceding semesters, a minimum of 70% overall, and at least 85% attendance. The scholarship amount for each eligible student in each class might range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000.
Awards for superior performance in extracurricular, co-curricular, and sports activities Applying students must have a clean record academically, be in no arrears, have a minimum of 85% attendance, be actively involved in CSA, NCC, ACC, SWO, STUDENT COUNCIL, or SPORTS activities at the university, or have represented the university in extracurricular activities, and have a certificate proving their eligibility for the 2022–2023 academic year. Based on the proposal of the responsible Student Office Coordinators, this award is purely nominational. For qualifying students, each stipend might range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000.
Installation Location
Filling out a required application form found in the Office of Admissions will allow students who are unable to pay their fees in full to take use of this service. On designated dates, these applications can be processed by the scholarships office. This facility should only be used when the entire cost exceeds Rs. 10,000. The students are required to pay the payments in one or two installments on the days specified by the office.
Every year, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) allots over Rs 450 Lakhs for scholarships and fee reductions.
