G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Training and Placement department is dedicated to providing placement to students. It helps students to choose their career options and provide the latest industrial information on training & employment opportunities.

 

It focuses on providing guidance, counselling and bringing students and potential employers together to achieve the best possible placement depending on the market conditions. The placement department looks after the interest of their students and the employers by providing them the necessary platform. 

 

It offers various training programs, placement information and career guidance & capacity building. 

Training

By giving students technical, aptitude, and soft skill training, the training department hopes to meet business expectations.

 

The constant placement results demonstrate the usefulness of these training sessions. Every year, a number of businesses come to the institution to see which young, gifted students they can hire.

 

In order to close the gap between industry and academics, guest lectures and mock interview sessions are being arranged with the assistance of industry professionals.

 

A distinct training division prioritises the holistic development of learners by providing certificates in areas like MTA, PTC, Cloud computing, Java,.net, Big Data, Robotics, Design, and Simulation, all while considering the primary subjects and years of each student.

Placement Policy

  1. 1. To participate in campus placement programs, interested students must register with the placement department.
  2. 2. Our placement policy is One Student, One Offer. Here are some exceptions to this rule:
  • Placed CSE/IT students are eligible to apply to become Dream Status Companies for product-based companies with Higher Packages.
  • The student will not be permitted to work for any other company after being assigned to one that is product- or core-based.
  • It will be permissible for students from Core branches placed in software firms to appear in Core companies.
  • Due to the company's failure to disclose the results in a timely manner, students can receive multiple offers.

 

  1. 3. It is totally forbidden for students to speak with representatives of the company. Please direct all inquiries to the placement department only.

Career Guidance & Capacity Building

The career guidance placement cell plays a vital role in empowering candidates to identify their career options and help to choose one desired career with the aim to empower the students to make their informed career choice. The training & placement cell conducted various workshops and organised many activities the whole year. The students can update their existing trends in the career they are interested in through workshops, expert talks and informative webinars, skill-based training programs, etc. 

 

The Alumni are also invited by the college who act as a guiding light to their juniors and keep them abreast of the existing trends in the industry. 

 

Placement readiness tests and psychometric tests are also conducted for their students to help them to identify their interested areas. 

Skill Enhancement

The skill enhancement training provided to the students to arming them with life and improve their communication skills have become inevitable for their better campus placement. 

 

Through year-round training, the Training and Skill Development staff at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management therefore works tirelessly to hone these students' skills and improve their employability skills. In order to complete this duty flawlessly, the department employs a committed group of trainers that take great satisfaction in coaching and supporting the students throughout their academic journey, not just until they receive a campus recruiting.

LEAP (Learning and Employability Assessment Program) Training 

Their LEAP training modules are divided into two parts- aptitude training and soft skills training. Aptitude training is further divided into verbal aptitude and quantitative aptitude. The module on verbal aptitude and soft skills has been designed as a 40-60 hours program to be covered in four semesters.
