The Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management has provided the scholarships to its students. The primary objective of the proposed scheme is to promote the students of economically weaker sections to pursue the professional courses and come into the mainstream of society.
Requirement and eligibilityÂ
- Under the scholarship scheme 65 students can avail the benefits of total tuition fee waiver.
- sons/ daughters of parents whose annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 8.0 Lakh per annum.
- The total tuition fee of the students is waived off under this scheme.
- In another scheme of fee waiver the amount of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 is waived off to 150 students depending on their annual income and other financial condition of parents.Â
Application process
- Those candidates who are eligible for the scheme submit the application authority in 1st year.
- Once all admission formalities are completed, and candidates have registered, the application form for economically weaker section scholarship will be reviewed.Â
- College reserves the right to verify the income/ asset details of candidates who have applied for the aforementioned scholarship.
- The candidate may be interviewed by the scholarship committee in case of any clarifications needed.
- In case of any false declaration of documents, the college shall suspend the scholarship extended, cancel admission and expel the students from the program.
Documents needed for EWS scholarship
- Self declaration: The student applying for the scholarship must submit duly notarized declaration on Rs. 10 stamp paper, co-signed by all earning members of the family.
- Income tax returns of the parents and student for the last two years should be submitted or any other Govt. verified documents which can ascertain the income and asset level of parents.
College reserves the right to change and/or suspend the scholarship policy and related at any point of time.Â
