GIBS, affiliated with Bangalore University, offers admission to the BBA and PGDM programs, which are approved by AICTE. For the PGDM program, students can opt for a dual specialisation along with the Post Graduate Program in Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship (PGPIRE) and Certification in Personal Mastery Program (CPMP) by GIBS Finishing School. 

The curriculum includes Business Mastery & Campus Biz Program, value-added Programs (VAPs), outbound training, industrial visits, and mentorship by professors and corporate leaders. Students also receive startup assistance and access to the Practice School of Excellence to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

The eligibility criteria for PGDM courses at GIBS require a bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) with at least 50% from an accredited university (AICTE/UGC/AIU). Further, admission in these courses is determined by entrance tests like the CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA and State CET. 

Students who are willing to gain admission in the BBA program at GIBS need to complete HSC (10+2) from a recognised board in any course with 50% marks. Moreover, students also need to appear for the CET exam. Those who are currently appearing for PUC/12th exams can also apply. For NRI students, the admission criteria is based on academic records, group discussions and personal interviews.

GIBS Application Process 2025

The application process for admission in GIBS is conducted online. Candidates can follow these steps.

Fee Payment Options 1. Online Payment. Transfer via Netbanking / UPI / E-wallets / Payment Gateway. Scan the payment Acknowledgement or Deposit Slip and email it to admissions@gibs.edu.in with your name and contact details.
2. Demand Draft (DD). DD in favor of ‘GOYAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST’ payable at Bangalore. Share a scanned copy of DD along with your name & course details via email (admissions@gibs.edu.in). Send the original DD by Speed Post or Courier to the GIBS postal address along with relevant documents.
Selection Process Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the admissions panel within 48 hours for further steps.
Eligibility Criteria (PGDM) Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 4) with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from recognized Universities/Institutions (AICTE/UGC/AIU).
Entrance Exam Score Candidates can apply based on CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, and State CET tests, as per AICTE guidelines.
Group Discussion & Personal Interview Applicants with work experience and/or additional educational qualifications will receive extra weightage. NRI/company-sponsored candidates can seek admission based on their prior record, group discussion, and personal interview.
