GNDU provides various courses in different disciplines like Science, Arts, Management, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Environment, Planning and Architecture. Admissions to B.Tech courses are on merit in Entrance Test/JEE Main. Admissions to M.Tech courses are on the basis of GATE scores or merit in Entrance Test by University. Admissions to MBA are on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test.Admission to B.Arch. is on the basis of combined merit of valid NATA score and qualifying examination in the proportion of 50:50.

Admissions to M.Phil/Ph.D programmes are on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test held by the university. Admission to open & Distance Learning programmes is on the basis of merit of the last qualifying examination. Candidates may apply for admissions through online mode.

The University is also accredited A++ with 3.51 CGPA out of 4-point scale by NAAC. According to a recent survey conducted by India Today, GNDU ranks 16 among top 50 universities of the country.

GNDU offers B.Sc.(Hons), B.Arch, B.Plan, B.Pharm, BPT, BHMCT, B.P.Ed, B.Lib & Inf.Sc, BA (Hons), LLB, BA LLB and BTTM courses at the UG level. The basic eligibility for admissions to these courses is a pass in 10+2 examination.

GNDU offers M.Sc, M.Sc. (Hons), MA, M.Arch, M.Plan, MPT, MHA & MSW courses at the PG. Admissions to these courses are merit in the Entrance Test conducted by University. How to Apply for Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU)?

Candidates can apply for admissions to their respective courses by following the stepwise procedure mentioned below:

  • Candidates need to visit the website and fill the registration form.
  • Candidates need to fill in all the details and upload photographs & signatures in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Now, enter the account password and click on 'Register'.
  • After successful registration, registered email is sent to which candidates can login into their account.
  • After logging into account, candidates have to click on 'Course Registration' and complete the registration form.
  • Candidates should choose carefully the category to which they belong since after submission, the category cannot be changed.
  • Application fee can be paid either in offline mode through HDFC bank or university cash counter or in online mode at portal.
  • After making fee payment, candidates must submit the admission form prior to the closing date.
  • Candidates whose admission will be taken through Entrance Test, candidates must download the Admit Cards from their accounts.
  • Entrance test results will be uploaded on the university website.
  • Those who pass the entry test have to attend counselling on the respective counselling date.
