Guru Nanak Dev University Punjab is known for providing financial help for students by providing various scholarship schemes. It offers different scholarships which are offered under government and normal/ general schemes.
The University provides different government and University scholarships to provide financial assistance to help students with low income backgrounds and students with good merit throughout their education. The scholarship offerings of the University includes Post Merit Scholarships, National Scholarships, State Merit Scholarships, Non Hindi Speaking State Scholarships, Financial Assistance scheme, Mahesh Dutt Bhalla and Jaswant Kaur Bhalla Scholarship, Aman Sangram Singh Memorial Scholarship, S.Smittar Singh Scholarship, Prof. M.P.Satija Scholarship, Lt. Narinder Singh Sihota Scholarship, Capt. Harnam Singh Sihota Memorial Scholarship, Ishita Merit Scholarship, Special Scholarships for B.Sc.(Hons. Sch.), M.Sc.(Hons. Sch.) and M.Sc.(Hons.) Human Genetics students etc.
The eligibility for these scholarships includes the merit and certain income limit for the consideration. The scholarships will be offered separately for several courses.
