In 1983 K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering was established and is a constituent college of the esteemed Somaiya Vidya vihar University approved by UGC. This institute has very modern and impressive infrastructure. In 2014, from UGC and Govt. of Maharashtra college was awarded autonomous status. Campus is situated over 50 acres of lush green land.
In this engineering college, they offer UG, PG and doctorate courses with some specializations. Additionally, enrolment is based on Entrance tests at the national level like JEE Main, MHT-CET, SAT, PERA-CET, CUET, and GATE , which are used to decide admissions.
