National Centre for Cell Science Admission 2025: Courses, Application process

The National Centre for Cell Sciences Pune has opened the Ph.D. program application process for August. Those who are interested and eligible for admission can apply online by going to the official website. It is associated with Savitribai Phule University. The NCCS offered Ph.D program in Modern Biology is offered by NCCS. The course is intended for students who want to pursue higher degrees in research studies. An applicant must have finished postgraduate coursework in any science field to apply at NCCS Pune. Students must have a strong academic record and be nationals of India. Postgraduate students may apply if they have a valid scholarship from CSIR, DBT, ICMR, UGC, or BINC. Applications are also accepted from those who passed the NCBS/TIFR JGEEBILS exam, without fellowships. They will be selected immediately for an interview round. In their postgraduate coursework, students must have earned at least 50% of their possible points or an equivalent GPA. Additionally, they must not be older than 28.

NCCS Ph.D Admission 2025

NCCS Ph.D programs admission in modern biology are managed by the Institute. This course is open to students who have earned an MSc in any science. They must have received at least 50% in their postgraduate coursework. Any active fellowship from CSIR, DBT, ICMR, UGC, or BINC is required of students. NCCS Admission Process 2025

The maximum age for students should be 28. While OBC students receive a three-year age relaxation, SC, ST, PH, and female applicants receive a five-year age relaxation. This course is not open to students who have only been qualified for Lectureship in CSIR-UGC (NET) and the "Project list of ICMR."

NCCS Application Process 2025

NCCS accepts only offline applications. The application form must be downloaded from the official website and turned in on campus.

Step 1: Students who want to apply to this college, visit the National Centre for Cell Sciences to do so.

Step 2: Copies of their MSc and fellowship certificates and admit card, must be submitted with the application form.

Step 3: All this should be emailed to “Dean (Academics), National Centre for Cell Science, SP Pune University Campus, Ganeshkhind, Pune 411 007”.

• Students in the SC, ST, or reserved categories must provide copies of their caste certificates, and the original must be shown when they are interviewed.
• The application form should be forwarded to "Director, NCCS at Pune" along with a DD of INR 100.
• SC and ST candidates do not have to pay any application fee.
