Rajasthan Technical University eligibility criteria vary for several UG and PG programs. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Biology subjects theoretically for 45% (40% for reserved categories) in the aggregate are eligible for admission to the program of B.Tech. The Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process or REAP is done for admissions. Applicants for M.Tech programs must have passed B.E./B.Tech in any relevant discipline securing 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates with valid GATE scores are given preference. RTU offers a wider range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as B.Tech and M.Tech, MBA and MCA and a rigorous admission process followed through recognized state and nation-level entrance tests. B.Tech as well as M.Tech admissions will also be done through REAP and GATE score is required for M.Tech admissions. CMAT as well as equivalent exams for MBA and MCA are considered. The admission schedules include the application, payment of the admission fee, assessment of educational transcript, and interviews.
