Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination
SBSC admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

- Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.

- Candidates who want to apply for the Sports Supernumerary or ECA quota must pay an additional application fee of INR 100.

Step 4: Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University will release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admission criteria, such as:

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission
Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard to accept the allocated seat if offered. Once a seat has been allocated to SBSC in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.
- Once the candidate Accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.
- Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates must pay the Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admission fee to confirm their seat.
