UPRTOU offers scholarships to deserving students and also supports scholarships from central and state governments. Students must submit an application and the necessary paperwork as soon as they are accepted in order to be considered for UPRTOU scholarships. Scholarships are given out according to merit, category, and financial need. Some popular scholarships that might be available include:

| Formerly known as the National Fellowship for Higher Education of schedule tribe Students, the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship | The scholarship is available for Scheduled Tribe students and transgender candidates. Students must be enrolled full-time in an M.Phil or Ph.D. program in Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences to be eligible. | A fellowship worth INR 25,000 is given out every year for the first two years. The salary rises to INR 28,000 per year for the remaining duration (up to 5 years or until viva). Candidates who are visually or physically disabled also get INR 2,000 a month in reader support. |
| Scholarship for Postgraduate Merit for University Rank Holders awarded by UGC | Undergraduate First and Second Rank winners who have been admitted into any Postgraduate Course will get the award.
Participants in the program must be enrolled full-time in a traditional Master's degree program at an accredited university, private institution, autonomous college, or postgraduate college.
Application procedure: Only one application per year will be accepted through the Government of India's National Scholarship Portal. Furthermore, a brief announcement will be made on the UGC website. |
Fellowship amount: Rs. 3,100/-per month for a maximum of two years, or the length of a postgraduate program.
There won't be any more grants available to cover expenses for housing, healthcare, etc. The recipient of the Postgraduate Scholarship for University Rank Holders will not be prohibited from pursuing other forms of financial aid. |
