The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test), a national entrance exam, for admission to postgraduate degrees in MD, MS, and PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH). The release of the AIAPGET application form, followed by online registration and form submission, marks the beginning of the admissions process. A computer-based test, or CBT, is used to administer the AIAPGET exam. There are 120 objective-type questions on the test, and each right response carries four marks, while for every wrong response one mark is subtracted.

The subjects and all the topics included in the AIAPGET 2025 syllabus will be determined by the Graduate Level Education Regulations of the relevant discipline, which NCISM/NCH issues. For a thorough syllabus, it is recommended that aspirants consult the NCISM/NCH. The AIAPGET Homeopathic course covers a wide range of topics, most of which are associated with homeopathy and homeopathic medicines. The AIAPGET Ayurveda curriculum addresses topics related to the history of Ayurveda, Ayurvedic treatments, and its practices, whereas the AIAPGET Siddha syllabus contains themes on Siddha, its primordials and its Sissha, anthric theories, etc.
