Candidates wishing to enrol in postgraduate programs in Andhra Pradesh in engineering, pharmacy, and other fields must complete the AP PGECET 2025 application process. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati administers the state-level Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET). Candidates who want to enrol in M.Tech, M.Pharm, or other relevant programs at different schools and institutions within the state must take this exam.

The AP PGECET 2025 application form will be available online at the official website, and candidates must complete it before the final submission deadline. 

AP PGECET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the AP PGECET 2025 exam must follow the eligibility criteria imposed by the conducting authorities. The AP PGECET 2025 eligibility criteria are mentioned below -

  • The nationality of the candidates must be Indian.
  • Applicants must have a domicile of Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/non-local requirements will be eligible. 
  • Candidates must have a qualified Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field from an AICTE or UGC-approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 
  • The minimum qualifying percentage is 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved category candidates. 
  • Candidates appearing in the final year/semester exams are also eligible for the AP PGECET 2025 admission process. 
  • Applicants with valid scores in GATE/GPAT in the relevant discipline are also eligible for admission.

The AP PGECET 2025 application process will follow a scheduled timeline, with key registration, submission, and payment deadlines. Candidates should ensure they complete the application process within these deadlines. Here’s the tentative schedule:

AP PGECET 2025 Registration Fees

The AP PGECET 2025 application fee differs for candidates based on their category. The application fee structure is as follows:

  • For Unreserved Category (General): INR 1200
  • For OBC/EWS Category: INR 900
  • For SC/ST Category: INR 700

Late Fee: Candidates can also fill out the application with a late fee, which is applicable as follows:

  • Late Fee of INR 500 (with extended deadlines)
  • Late Fee of INR 2000
  • Late Fee of INR 5000 (final extended deadline)

Online payments, such as debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI, can be made online. For candidates who choose to apply after the regular deadline, the late fee must be paid according to the chosen extension period.

AP PGECET 2025 Application Modes

AP PGECET 2025 will only be conducted through online application mode. Candidates must fill out their applications and submit them via the official website. Offline submissions will not be accepted. Make sure you have a stable internet connection before starting the process.

AP PGECET 2025 Application Process

Filling out the AP PGECET 2025 application form is completed in four steps. Candidates can check the required steps to fill out the AP PGECET 2025 application form online below;

Step 1: Fee Payment: This option allows Candidates to make Online Fee Payments.

Candidates must pay the requisite application fees to continue the AP PGECET Application Form 2025. Application fees are given below:

  • For unreserved category: Rs 1200
  • For OBC/ EWS category: Rs 900
  • For SC/ST category: Rs 700

Candidates can also fill out the AP PGECET application form with late fees of Rs 500/ Rs 2000/ Rs 5000 with different deadlines. Candidates can fill out the AP PGECET 2025 application form later with respective late fees.

Step 2: Know your Payment status: Candidate can check the Success/Failure status of Fee Payment

After paying the application fees, the candidate must check the payment status of the AP PGECET application fee, If the payment status is successful, the candidate can move forward with the Application form. If the payment status is unsuccessful, candidates must pay the application fees again. If any amount is deducted and not reflected on the payment porta,l it will soon be credited back to the original payment method.

Step 3: Fill Application (Only After Fee Payment): After fee payment, candidates must fill in the Application form through this option.

After paying the application fees, Candidates need to click on "Proceed to Fill Application" and fill in the AP PGECET 2025 application form;

  • Registration: Candidates must fill in their mobile number, qualifying degree hall ticket number, date of birth, and payment ID to register on the website.
  • Form fill-up: Candidates need to fill in all mandatory details to complete the application form: Personal details, Educational details, additional required details
  • Upload Documents: Candidates need to upload a Photograph and signature of the candidate with the required specifications.
  • Test Centers: Candidates will be required to fill 5 test center choices and lock or freeze the application form.

Step 4: Print Application Form (Only After Submitting Application Form): After the application form submission, the candidate can print the submitted form.

Candidates must carefully review the application form before submitting it. A special registration number will be created after the application is submitted. Aspirants should make a note of this number for all future use. You must download the properly completed application. Candidates must also take a printout of the same document.

Aspirants who apply based on their GATE/GPAT scores need to fill out a separate application form for counselling purposes.
