The Central Seat Allocation Board, also known as CSAB, conducts the CSAB counselling 2025 for candidates who do not receive a seat in the JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main ranks. These applicants must sign up for CSAB counselling. There are three different kinds of CSAB counselling: CSAB Special, CSAB Supernumerary, and CSAB North Eastern States and Some of Union Territories (NEUT). The JEE Main 2025 rank will serve as the basis for all three forms of counselling. Following the conclusion of the JoSAA 2025 counselling, CSAB counselling dates for 2025 will be made available at csab.nic.in, most likely in June 2025. The CSAB 2025 timetable will change for the supernumerary, special, and NEUT rounds. Following the CSAB NEUT counselling, there will be a special round and a supernumerary round.

What is CSAB?

The Central Seat Allocation Board is known as CSAB. It offers national-level counselling, known as CSAB special counselling, based on JEE Main scores for admission to open seats left over from the most recent JoSAA counselling round. CSAB Counselling Eligibility 2025

Students must review the eligibility requirements established by CSAB for 2025 before beginning the application process for CSAB Counselling 2025. Candidates must fulfill the CSAB 2025 eligibility criteria listed below to apply for CSAB Counseling 2025:

• Applications for CSAB Counselling 2025 are open to students who passed the JEE Main exam but did not take part in JoSAA Counselling 2025.
• Candidates may also take part in the special round of CSAB Counselling 2025 if they were given a seat in any of the six rounds of JoSAA Counselling 2025.
• Students can also participate in the CSAB Counselling 2025 if they were not given a place in any of the JoSAA 2025 Counselling rounds.

CSAB Counselling 2025 Application Process

Supernumerary, NEUT, and special counselling registrations for the CSAB are handled separately. When the corresponding counselling rounds begin, the eligible candidates must go to the registration link on the official website. 

• The first step in the registration process for all three forms of counselling is to log in using your JEE Main 2025 application number and password at csab.nic.in. 
• The next steps of the counselling process vary based on the kind of counselling. 
• Visit the official website to register for CSAB special counselling and fill out the choices. 
• Enter the JEE Main application number and password to log in now. 
• Use the OTP that was sent to the registered email address and mobile number for JEE Main to authenticate. 
• Next, check the information provided in the CSAB application form that was obtained from JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and JoSAA.
• Confirm the registration and submit the information.
• Depending on the type of counselling, either special, NEUT, or supernumerary, this phase will vary. 
• Applicants must pay the required fee or upload any necessary documents.
• Candidates can move on to the choice filling process once the registration is complete.

CSAB Counselling Application 2025: What Comes Next?

After registration for CSAB counselling 2025 is completed, candidates are required to select their preferred engineering fields and universities. The following should be kept in mind by candidates before they enter their choices: 

• A list will be shown according to eligibility, rank, available seats, and disciplines provided. 
• They can enter as many options as they want depending on their preferences. 
• Before locking in their final selections, candidates are free to rearrange their options, change previously filled-out options, or add new options as often as they would like. 
• A candidate's previously filled-out choices will be considered final if they are not submitted within the time limit specified.
