Common University Entrance Test Result

The CUET UG 2025 result will be announced in the last week of July 2025 on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. Students who took the exam can download their scorecard online once it's released. The result will come out after the answer key is published. The final answer key will be updated based on any mistakes or objections that are pointed out. The final scores will be calculated using this updated answer key. To get the scorecard, students will need to enter their application number and date of birth. Along with the result, NTA will also share the number of students who appeared for the exam, how many passed, and the names of the toppers. The CUET exam will be held around May or June 2025 in an online test format.

To download the CUET result 2025, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official CUET UG website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/
2. Click on the 'CUET UG 2025 Scorecard' tab.
3. The CUET 2025 login page will appear. Enter the following login details:
   • Application number
   • Date of Birth or Password
4. After entering the details, the CUET scorecard 2025 PDF will be displayed and can be downloaded.
5. It is advised to take a printout of the result scorecard for future reference.

CUET Score 2025 Re-Evaluation

After the CUET result 2025 is declared, no requests for re-evaluation of the scores will be accepted. The marks and percentile shown in the CUET UG 2025 scorecard will be considered final. Candidates can raise objections against the CUET 2025 provisional answer key until the specified date.

The CUET UG marking scheme is as follows:

• Correct Answer: +5 marks will be awarded for each correct answer in the CUET UG exam.
• Incorrect Answer: -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in the CUET UG exam.
• Unanswered or Marked for Review: No marks (0) will be given for unanswered questions in the CUET UG exam.
• Multiple Correct Answers: If more than one answer is correct, +5 marks will be given to candidates who select any of the correct answers in the CUET UG exam.
• All Correct Options: If all options are correct, +5 marks will be given to all candidates who attempt the question in the CUET UG exam.
• Dropped or Incorrect Questions: If a question is found to be wrong or dropped, +5 marks will be awarded to all candidates who attempted that question in the CUET UG exam.

Additionally, after calculating the raw scores, NTA will apply the CUET UG normalization method for subjects that are conducted in multiple sessions.

For example, if there are 1000 candidates who appeared in a session and 100 of them have a raw score equal to or less than yours, then your percentile would be 10%.

The percentile is a measure of how well you did relative to the other candidates who took CUET UG. It is a more accurate measure of your performance than your raw score, because it takes into account the difficulty of the exam and the performance of the other candidates.

CUET Result 2025: Normalisation Process

The CUET normalization process ensures fairness by adjusting scores across different exam sessions, accounting for variations in difficulty levels. This process is commonly used in state and national-level entrance exams for undergraduate admissions. During the CUET UG 2025 exam, candidates appearing in different sessions are ranked on a comparative scale.
