The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 once every year. The test is administered on a national level. Since 2024, NTA implemented the hybrid exam mode to maintain the flexibility of students living in remote places. Candidates with CUET scores can be admitted into top-tier colleges, such as DU, BHU, JMI, and AU. CUET 2025 seat reservations for GEN-EWS, OBC (NCL), SC, and ST are 10%, 27%, 15%, and 7.5% respectively.

CUET 2025 Application Process
CUET application process will commence in the last week of February 2025. A total of 1347820 students registered for the examination in 2024. CUET registration process is carried out online and is carried out online at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Students can choose up to 3 subjects and additional subjects. Candidates can access CUET form correction window in the first week of April 2025. Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., cuetug.ntaonline.in, and click on the “New Candidate Registration” option. Step 2: Complete the verification with either an Aadhaar Card/ Digilocker account/ ABC ID/ Indian Passport Number/ PAN Card/ Non-Indian Passport. Step 3: Create a strong password followed by the security captcha filling, and click on the ‘Submit’ option and obtain the unique application ID Step 4: Go for “CUET 2025 Applicant Login” and provide the system-generated unique registration ID and the created password. Step 5: Enter all the personal and academic details, choice of 5 exam cities, and subject codes. Step 6: Upload a photograph, signature, and category certificate. Step 7: Click on the “Preview Application Form” option and verify the email address followed by the payment option. Step 8: Pay CUET registration fees via credit or debit card/ net banking/ UPI.

CUET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Both Indian nationals and foreign-category students are eligible to appear in CUET 2025 examination. NTA is expected to make no changes in terms of the eligibility criteria for CUET examination. CUET 2025 Syllabus
CUET 2025 syllabus includes 33 languages, 29 domain-specific, and 1 General Test subject. The Domain specific subject will be based on NCERT class 12 topics. In Language part, there will be different reading comprehension passages, literary aptitude, and vocabulary based questions. CUET 2025 Domain-Specific Subjects Syllabus
CUET domain-specific subjects syllabus is of class 12 NCERT-level. There will be a total of 29 domain-specific subjects. Out of these, candidates can choose 4-5 subjects. CUET 2025 General Test Syllabus
In 2024, NTA implemented a change regarding attempting the general test paper. Aspirants can now attempt the general test paper as a separate subject. It is not necessary to attempt the paper with each subject. Students will be asked a total of 60 questions in the general test, out of which 50 need to be attempted. The questions in CUET general test will be from the following topics:
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs
- General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability
- Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts Quantitative Arithmetic/ Algebra Geometry/ Mensuration/ Statistics)
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
CUET 2025 Exam Pattern
As mentioned earlier, NTA will conduct CUET exam in both CBT and offline mode. CUET 2025 exam will have three sections, viz., 1A, 1B, 2, and 3. Candidates need to attempt a 40 out of 50 questions each in Section 1A/1B, and 2. In the General Test, total 50 out of 60 questions needs to be attempted. For every correct attempts, a +5 mark is awarded and -1 is given for incorrect attempts.

CUET 2025 Admit Card
NTA will issue CUET 2025 city intimation slip before the issuance of admit cards. The city allotment letter will include the details of test center allocated to the candidate. Aspirants can download CUET 2025 admit card by entering the login credential, such as application number and password. The helpdesk must be contacted at 011-40759000 or 011-6922770 between 10 AM to 5 PM, if there are any discrepancies on CUET 2025 admit card.
- Go to the official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
- Click on “Download CUET (UG) 2025 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket” link.
- Enter application number and password.
- Provide the security captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ option.

CUET 2025 Results
NTA will release CUET 2025 answer keys before the publication of results by the fourth week of June 2025. Candidates can get admission into 277 participating colleges with their CUET scores. The results will include details such as name, parents’ names, gender, category, application number, roll number, overall percentile score, normalized score, etc. Step 1: Visit the visit official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG Step 2: Click on the “CUET (UG) 2025 Scorecard” option. Step 3: Provide the application number and date of birth and click on the ‘Submit’ option. Step 4: Download CUET (UG) 2025 scorecards and take a printout.
CUET 2025 Cut Off
CUET cut off will be released once the results of 2025 exam are declared at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. NTA will not take responsibility in making the merit list. Candidates can check the merit list of shortlisted ones at respective university’s official website. The previous year, CUET cut off for the general categories can be 384-754 and 482-604 for the reserved categories.
