HPCET 2025: Steps To Download Admit Card
Candidates should note that the HPCET 2025 admit card will not be sent via post or courier. The admit card must be downloaded online through the following steps:
- Visit the official HPCET website: Go to himtu.ac.in.
- Find the Admit Card link: Look for the link to download the HPCET Admit Card 2025.
- Click on the link: This will take you to a page where you need to enter your details.
- Enter the required details:
- Application form number and select the program applied for from the drop-down menu, OR
- Enter your name, date of birth, and the program you have applied for.
- Click the Submit button: A PDF document containing your admit card will open.
- Download and save: Click on the download icon to save the admit card PDF to your device.

While downloading the HPCET Admit Card, the applicant must keep the following things in mind:
- The applicant must be ready with their user ID and password while downloading his HPCET Admit Card.
- The candidate must ensure that they have a stable internet connection for the smooth downloading procedure.
- Only candidates who meet all the HPCET Eligibility criteria will be able to download their respective hall tickets from the HPTU official portal when the link becomes active.
- Verify all the details provided in the Admit Card to avoid any discrepancies later.
- Take an extra printout of the Admit Card in case you lose one.
- The printout should be such that the details in the Admit Card must clearly be visible.

Things Not Allowed to Bring to the Exam Center
Some items like the HPCET Books and study material are banned in the exam hall. The candidate should know these so that he or she does not have any issues. If any candidate is found carrying the following items, he or she will be debarred from the exam:
- Mobile phone
- Smartwatch
- Any other electronic device
- Food items
- Calculator
- Books, charts, tables, guides, etc
HPCET 2025 Examination Guidelines
Candidates of HPCET 2025 must remember these guidelines before sitting in the examination:
- Candidates should ensure that all the details like Name, categories, etc. printed on HPCET 2025 e-Admit Card are correct. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate should immediately contact the Controller of Examination, H.P. Technical University.
- The document is issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/ her fulfilling the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.
- Candidates must report in the hall at least 1 hour before the commencement of an exam
- Without a valid HPCET Admit card no candidate will be allowed to attempt the test
- Also, there is a necessity to carry with the hall ticket a valid identification proof, say Aadhaar Card, PAN Card etc.
- Candidates are supposed to carry their own stationery, like a geometry box set, pencils, erasers, etc. for the aptitude test.
- Candidates are also supposed to bring with them a cardboard or a clipboard with nothing written on them, to avoid any difficulty in marking their answers in the Answer Sheet in case the tables in the examination hall do not have a smooth surface.
- They must also carry their own ballpoint pens (black or blue) for marking their answers.
- No luggage of any kind is permitted in the examination hall.
- No candidate should leave his/ her seat until the complete time of the paper is completed, without special permission from the Centre Superintendent or the Invigilator.
- Candidates should not go out of the examination room without submitting their answer sheets to the Invigilators on duty.
- No electronic gadgets such as mobile phones or calculators or anything are allowed inside the exam hall.
- No log tables or books or note pads are allowed in the examination room.
HPCET 2025 Code of Conduct
There are certain rules and regulations set by HIMTU that a candidate has to follow. The following are the instructions that need to be kept strictly in mind before and during the exam:
- The candidate must maintain silence in the examination hall and shall attend only to their question paper. Any talk or disturbance, etc. in the examination hall will be considered as misbehavior.
- If any candidate is found using unfair means or impersonating, then candidature will be cancelled and the candidate will be liable to be debarred for future either permanently or for a specific period of time.
- Calculators, books, notebooks, log tables, electronic watches with a calculator, printed or written material, mobile phone, or any other devices, except the e-Admit Card with valid photo ID, will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
- Candidates should not tear or remove any pages from the test booklet. Removing pages from the test booklet will be considered a criminal offense.
