JCECE 2025 Result: Tie Breaking Rules

There are often cases where two or more candidates have secured the same score. In such a situation the JCECE Board determines a sequence of preference for Inter-se-merit of such candidates which are mentioned below. Inter-se merit for the courses offered by JCECE board are mentioned below:

1. B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) Stream

1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the Examination.>b. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Examination.>c. Candidates older in age.>d. As per English alphabetical order of First Name.

2. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) Stream

JCECE 2025 Counselling Process

Mode of Counselling

The JCECE 2025 counselling will be conducted online, and all relevant details will be available on the official website of the board. The counselling process consists of two rounds.

Counselling Rounds

• First Round: After the declaration of results, candidates will be invited for counselling based on their merit rank. The schedule, venue, and mode of counselling will be announced on the official website.
• Second Round: If any seats remain unfilled after the first round, a second round of counselling will be organized. Candidates who have already secured admission in the first round can also participate to change their course or institute.

Counselling Fee

Candidates selected for counselling must pay a participation fee:

• General/ EWS/ BC-I/ BC-II Candidates: ₹400
• SC/ ST/ Female Candidates: ₹200>The payment can be made via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Documents Required for Counselling

Candidates attending the counselling must bring both original and self-attested copies of the following documents:

1. Admit card, mark sheet, and passing certificate of Matric (10th) and 12th or equivalent examination.
2. Admit card, mark sheet, and passing certificate of I.Sc./ 10+2/ Higher Secondary/ Inter (Agriculture)/ PC Forestry or equivalent examination.
3. Local resident certificate issued by CO/ SDO (Civil)/ DC of Jharkhand.
4. Caste certificate issued by CO/ SDO/ DC of Jharkhand (if applicable).
5. Income & assets certificate (if applicable).
6. One passport-size photograph.
7. Admit card of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination.
8. Disability certificate (if applicable), issued by a certified Medical Board and countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/ CMO/ Head of Hospital.
