TS EAMCET 2025 Eligibility: Nationality, Age Limit, Course-Wise Eligibility

The TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2025 has been released along with the information brochure, which will be issued by JNTUH on its official website. As per the eligibility criteria, the lower age limit of the candidates should be within 17 years. General category candidates can appear in the TS EAMCET 2025 exam till 22 years of age. Reserved candidates will get 3 years of relaxation. All details about the eligibility conditions of a candidate in terms of minimum qualifications, age limits, etc., are included in the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria. Candidates should note that their admission depends solely on fulfilling the eligibility criteria of TS EAMCET 2025 as laid down by the authorities. TS EAMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be an Indian National, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder belonging to the Telangana or Andhra Pradesh region. The candidate should be at least 17 years old as on December 31 of the year in which he or she seeks admission. For candidates belonging to general categories, the upper age limit is 22 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories should not exceed 25 years.

TS EAMCET 2025 Nationality:

• Students applying for TS EAMCET 2025 should be Indian Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
• Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as per the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974, as amended.

TS EAMCET 2025 Age Limit:

• Students must be 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of admission.
• The upper age limit is 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as of December 31 of the year of admission.

TS EAMCET 2025 Educational Qualification:

For Engineering and 50% seats in B.Pharmacy, BTech (Food Science and Technology (FST)) / B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Management (CA & BM)) courses:

• Candidates should have passed the 12th standard with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) or equivalent, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology as optional or related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology fields.
• Alternatively, candidates should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training.

For B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and the remaining 50% seats in B.Tech (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses:

• Candidates should have passed the 12th or any equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, with any two/three of the subjects mentioned below:

TS EAMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria Overview

Candidates for TS EAMCET 2025 should be Indian Nationals, PIO, or OCI cardholders, and residents of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh who meet local/non-local status. Candidates should have a minimum of 16 years, with age specified by particular courses. Since admissions are strictly based on the weightage of marks from TS EAMCET 2025, no weightage for intermediate marks is applicable.

For B.V.Sc. & AH, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. (Forestry), B.F.Sc., and B.Tech (FT):

For B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D Courses:

• Candidates must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent with the following:

• There is no upper age limit for the Pharmacy course. However, candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission. For Pharm.D, candidates must be at least 17 years old.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ ST candidates receive a 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit.

TS EAMCET 2025 Special Reservation Criteria

The percentage of reservations in TS EAMCET 2025 for female candidates is 33%, OBC 25%, ST 15%, EWS 10%, ST 6%, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) 3%, Sports 0.5 %, and NCC 1%. Students need to follow this page to get aware of the changed reservation criteria of TS EAMCET admission.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education extends the reservation facilities to the underprivileged groups that apply for TS EAMCET 2025. TS EAMCET 2025 Reservation of Seats for all Categories

TS EAMCET 2025 Reservation of Seats for EWS 

The EWS reservation in TS EAMCET is 10% as per the guidelines. The benefit of EWS TS EAMCET reservation of seats 2025 can be availed by submitting an Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Income Certificate issued by a Tahsildar and valid for the fiscal year 2025-24.
