AP ICET Result 2025: Important Points

• General category students need to score at least 50 marks out of 200 (25%) to pass the AP ICET 2025 exam.
• There is no minimum score requirement for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
• APSCHE gives state-wide ranks based on students' scores.
• The rank obtained in AP ICET 2025 will be valid for admissions in Andhra Pradesh colleges for the 2025-26 academic year.
• Any disputes related to AP ICET 2025 will be handled only by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh in Amaravati.

Candidates can apply for re-evaluation if there are missing or incorrect details. They must submit an online application with a fee of Rs. 1000 within 15 days of the result announcement. Sri Krishnadevaraya University will only accept applications within this period.

AP ICET Marks Normalisation Process

• The AP ICET 2025 exam is held in two different sessions, but the syllabus and pattern remain the same for all candidates.
• Each candidate can appear in only one session. Since the question papers are different for each session, some exams might be slightly harder or easier than others.
• To make things fair, a normalization process is used. This process adjusts scores so that no candidate is at a disadvantage if they got a tougher paper.
• If one session has an easier paper, scores might be reduced slightly, and if another session has a tougher paper, scores might be increased slightly.
• If both sessions have similar difficulty levels, there will be little to no change in the scores.
• The goal of normalization is to ensure fairness in ranking and scoring for all students.

How Normalization Works

The process uses different calculations:

1. SMS – The average marks and standard deviation (difference in scores) of a particular session.
2. GMS – The average marks and standard deviation of all sessions combined.
3. Top Average Session – The average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates in a session.
4. Top Average Global – The average marks of the top 0.1% of all candidates across all sessions.

AP ICET 2025 Qualifying Criteria:

• General category candidates must score at least 50 marks out of 200 (25%) to qualify.
• There are no minimum marks required for reserved category candidates.
• The rank card is valid for one year only.

AP ICET 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria:

If multiple candidates score the same marks, the following rules apply:

• Section A marks will be considered first.
