• For admission to Jadavpur University, students must have secured a 60% aggregate (45% for reserved category) or comparable CGPA in the relevant branch from an AICTE-approved institute or university.
• There is no higher age limit for diploma holders.
• For diploma holders in Pharmacy seeking admission into the degree program in Pharmacy: Candidates will also be eligible for admission into the first year if the vacancies in the second year (lateral entrance) are exhausted.

Eligibility criteria for candidates holding a BSc

• Candidates must have completed a BSc from a recognised institute with a 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category).
• Candidates should have completed Class 12, with Mathematics as the core subject.
• If candidates are allotted, they should have passed Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics/Drawing, and the second-year topics.
• BSc holders are not eligible for admission to the Pharmacy course.
• BSc candidates are likewise ineligible for admission to Jadavpur University.

• Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first year of the Engineering program if the seats in the first year remain available and the vacancies in the second year (lateral entrance) are exhausted.
