XAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications:

Any student who has successfully completed a three-year engineering/science undergraduate degree or is currently studying in the third or fourth year of that engineering degree OR has already graduated in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts/Commerce is definitely eligible for sitting in XAT 2025.   • Applicants must possess a minimum three-year Bachelor's degree or an equivalent in any field of study, from a recognized institute.
  • Students in their last year may also apply to take the test.
  • Applicants with a two-year bachelor's degree who graduated in the 1980s are ineligible.
  • There isn't a minimal cumulative score requirement to take the XAT in 2024.
  • Instead of stating their graduation % on the application form, candidates with postgraduate degrees must provide their PG percentage.
  • The candidate must complete all backlogs through XAT in order to be admitted.

XAT 2025 Application Process

The XAT 2025 exam will be held online. Here are the steps to register XAT 2025:

  • Fill out the application form with your personal and educational details.
  • Upload scanned copies of the candidate's passport-sized photograph and signature.
  • Pay the XAT 2025 registration fee using a credit or debit card.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

  • Candidates interested in XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each
  • Fee for Indian Candidates applying for PGDM(GM) through GMAT/GRE– Rs. 2500/-
  • Foreign candidates or NRIs applying for one or more programmes through GMAT– Rs. 5000/-

Important Documents Required for XAT Application

The following documents are required to complete the XAT 2025 registration process:

  • A good quality image of the candidate's photograph ensures the specified requirements ( Size must be between 20 KB and 50 KB).
  • A scanned image of the candidate's signature ensures the specified requirements ( Size must be between 10 KB and 20KB).
  • Details of Valid identity document (The same ID to be carried at the exam hall). Valid ID could be Passport/ PAN card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ College ID/ Employee ID/ Driving License
  • A scanned copy of the degree certificate or provisional certificate from the Head of Department or the Institute (format specified in Appendix A of the information brochure).A scanned copy of the candidate's category certificate (SC/ST), if applicable* in pdf format. The size of the scanned document must be between 10 KB and 300 KB.
  • A scanned copy of the certificate of work experience, if applicable* in pdf format. The file size should be within 10KB to 300KB).
  • Net-banking/credit card/debit card details for fee payment.

XAT Exam Pattern

Only the first section of the three-part XAT paper counts toward the final score. The XAT exam pattern for 2025 is clearly depicted in the following table.
