Xavier Aptitude Test Application Process

XAT registration 2024 last date was December 10, 2024. Candidates interested in pursuing MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur or other 250+ XAT accepting colleges can register for the exam. The XAT 2025 application form was available at xatonline.in website through login. The XAT 2025 application form correction window was open from December 7 to December 8, 2025. Candidates could edit their email ID, phone number, test city and XLRI course options. 

This year, the XAT fee is INR 2200 for all candidates. The XAT 2025 exam was held on January 5, 2025 in 110 cities. XAT score is valid for admission to MBA/PGDM course at XLRI-Jamshedpur, XAMI institutes 250 B-schools accepting XAT score.

XAT Registration Dates 2025 

XLRI extended the XAT 2025 registration till December 10. Earlier, the last date to fill out the XAT registration form was November 30, 2024. The XAT application form correction window closed on December 8, 2024. XAT 2025 will be held on January 5, 2025. Major dates pertaining to XAT 2025 are listed in the table below.

XAT Registration 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

The XAT exam is for MBA/ PGDM programmes at XLRI and more than 160 associated MBA colleges across the country. XAT scores are accepted by more than 1000 MBA colleges in India. Before filling out the XAT registration form, candidates checked the XAT eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates should have completed their graduation with a minimum of three years of duration in any discipline. 
• Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for XAT 2025. There is no age restriction to appear for XAT.

• Applicants must have a three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. 
• Students appearing for their final examinations by the second week of June 2025, can also apply. However, they must have proof of their passing by the time admissions commence.

Documents Required for XAT Registration 2025 

Before commencing XAT 2025 registration, candidates need to be ready to upload some documents as per specifications. • Documents needed for XAT Registration Passport size photograph: File size should be between 20 KB to 50 KB and dimensions should not be more than 200 x 300 pixels. The file should be in .jpg or .jpeg format 
• Candidate signature: Scanned in 200 dots per inch resolution and the signature file size should be between 10 KB to 20 KB. 

The dimensions of the signature will be 140 x 60 pixels.

XAT Registration 2025: Key Points to Remember 

At the time of online XAT registration 2025 candidates can select six XAT exam cities for allotment of XAT exam centre this year. On successful XAT application fee payment, an e-receipt will be displayed on the computer screen. Non-generation of "E-receipt" indicates the payment failure On failure of the XAT application fee payment, candidates are advised to religion by using their same email ID and password and repeat the XAT application fee payment process Take a printout of the XAT application fee receipt. The same cannot be generated afterwards.

XAT Registration Fee 2025 

Candidates appearing for the XAT exam may note that the XAT application fee has increased to Rs 2,200 plus Rs 200 for every additional programme chosen. The XAT registration fee can be paid through credit or debit card/ net banking. XAT application fee 2025 is the same for all candidates including reserved candidates (SC/ST/PwD).
