The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the CDS (Combined Defence Services) twice a year (every year) to select deserving and talented students. The qualified talented students are selected for their enrollment in the Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Officers Training. Millions of students appear every year for the CDS examination to achieve a position in the second-largest military force in the world. The CDS I 2024 examination was successfully conducted on 21st April 2024. The UPSC has now released the official notification of CDS II 2024 examination on 15th May 2024. The Combined Defence Services (CDS) II registration process has already started from the same date till 4th June 2024.
The CDS II Notification also includes the details of vacancy and number of seats available in each force. According to the notification, the CDS II 2024 examination is scheduled for 1st September 2024. Candidates who are seeking admission to the IMA, INA, AF, and OTAs can apply for the CDS II 2024 exam at upsc.gov.in. After completion of the exam, qualifying candidates will be able to join their preferred defence force academy as commissioned officers. Candidates need to enter their email ID / Mobile Number / OTR ID and password as login credentials to register themselves for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) II 2024 examination.

Age Limit
The upper limit of age is set for 25 years.
However, the age limit may vary according to the defense academy.
Citizenships
Indian and Nepal citizens are eligible to apply for the CDS II 2024 examination.
Burma, Sri Lanka, and Eastern African Countries migrants can also apply.
Educational Qualification
Aspirants should’ve completed their graduation from any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
Final year students in graduation who do not have any backlog in any semester are also eligible to apply.
