The CUET UG (2024) exam conducted by the NTA, is the primary source to get admission to DU for any UG programs for DU Admission 2024. Whereas, the DU PG admission is based on the scores of a candidate in the CUET PG exam. Therefore, candidates need to apply and appear in the CUET 2024 exams to get admission at more than 90 DU-affiliated colleges. CUET-qualified candidates can then register themselves on Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for seat booking.

Seat allocation combines multiple factors such as the combination of college and selected course, candidate position in the merit list, candidate’s category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), and seat availability. DU offers 50+ courses at Diploma, Certificate, UG, PG, and Doctoral levels across multiple specializations. These courses are available in Management, Arts, Science and other streams through its affiliated colleges. The fees for UG courses lies between INR 432 - INR 38 lakhs and INR 360 - 2.3 lakhs for PG courses in DU. The distance education platform offering courses at UG and PG levels are University of Delhi, DU SOL and School of Open Learning.
DU Application Process 2024: DU Admission 2024
The application process for BA and BA (Hons) admission starts simultaneously with the registration of CUET UG and CUET PG exams in DU. Right now, the DU CSAS registration is open for BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), B. Tech and all postgraduate courses till 25 May 2024. The DU application process 2024 for CUET PG exam is as follows-

Candidates need to read the given instructions carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ option.
Enter the required details asked in the form such as personal details, candidate’s name, parent’s name, D.O.B., Gender, Nationality, Identity type, Number, Present and permanent address.
Next, choose a password and security question.
Enter the given captcha to proceed.
Login using the application number and password as login credentials to complete the application process.
Candidates need to fill in the CUET PG 2024 application form for DU Admission 2024. Fill the application form with personal details, selecting paper, exam cities, educational details, scanned photograph and signature.
The photograph and signature should be in JPEG format in 10 KB to 200 KB and 4 KB to 30 KB respectively.
The application fee should be paid online through Credit/Debit Card, UPI and Net banking. The application fees for General students is INR 650, OBC-NCL and EWS is INR 600, SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender is INR 550 and abroad students is INR 3,000.
DU Admission 2024: Steps for DU CSAS Admission Process 2024
Candidates must appear for the CUET PG 2024 exam to get admission to DU for Postgraduate courses. DU admission process consists of six steps which includes registration, attempt those exams, DU CSAS registration, Counselling process of CSAS, release of merit list and seat allocation. DU CUET Registration 2024
The DU admission along with the CUET registration begins from the last week of February 2024. The registration process takes place online. Aspirants must appear for the CUET exam in order to take admission in the DU.
Appearance for the CUET exam
Registered candidates are required to appear in the CUET examination. The CUET score and rank will be taken into consideration for admission in DU.
Steps to apply for DU UG CSAS
Visit the official website of CSAS portal of DU at ugadmission.uod.ac.in and register as a new user. Fill out the application form including the college preferences, courses, etc. Students are required to pay the non-refundable application fee online. Students applying for BFA will have to charge an additional fee of INR 400 and for ECA & Sports INR 100 for each quota.
DU Admission 2024: DU CSAS Counselling Process
DU admission primarily goes through the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) of University of Delhi. Aspirants must opt for DU during the CUET Registration to get admission to University of Delhi. Register on the DU CSAS portal. Soon after this, the university releases DU CSAS Allocation Lists for all student categories. Then, after the student ‘Accepts’ the allocated seat, the college will verify the eligibility and documents of the candidate. Moreover, the college has the right to accept or reject the students admission on the basis of the verification done.

Once the DU affiliated colleges or institutions approves, selected candidate need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.
