IIT Jodhpur launches AI degree BSc/BS In Applied AI And Data Science

IIT Jodhpur launches a new online AI degree BSc/BS in Applied AI and Data Science. This program, offered in collaboration with Futurense University, aims to meet the growing demand for experts in the rapidly evolving fields of data science and artificial intelligence. Notably, JEE qualification is not required for admission to this program.
The degree is intended for professionals in the workforce as well as students. The course will be offered entirely online, with the added option of a campus immersion component. Students will get the opportunity to visit the IIT Jodhpur campus each year.
Additionally, a qualifying test, a completed application, and an offer letter from IIT Jodhpur are all part of the application procedure. Furthermore, live lectures from teachers and business executives will be offered on weekends, however, students will participate in a combination of self-paced video lectures, tests, and projects.
Meanwhile, the director of IIT Jodhpur, Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, emphasized the importance of developing a next-generation educational paradigm that tackles global issues. He added that their goal is to provide students enrolled in the BSc./BSc. in Applied AI and Data Science program with the cutting-edge knowledge and abilities needed to contribute to a rapidly changing global knowledge ecosystem that is being significantly shaped by artificial intelligence and other technologies.
Additionally, the program is meant to give students a solid foundation in artificial intelligence. It does this by including more than 100 sophisticated AI tools and practical experience with cutting-edge tools like Claude and Devin AI.
