NEET exam code: 1

• Applicants who are waiting for the results or will be taking the qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12, must choose this code.
• If the candidate fails once the results are announced, they will not be allowed to reapply.
• Students must provide the necessary documentation to demonstrate their eligibility for the exam.

NEET exam code: 2

• Candidates who have successfully completed 12 years of coursework through Higher/Secondary examinations or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is comparable to Class 10+2, may choose code 2.
• The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) stipulates that major subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, Mathematics, or any other option must be taken during the final two years of study.
• Candidates may also apply under National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test qualification code 2 if they have completed their 10+2 coursework from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or a state open school, as a private candidate from state boards, and if they have taken biology or biotechnology as an additional subject.
• It is worth noting that the NEET 2024 qualifying examination code for droppers will remain unchanged.
• For instance, a candidate who has passed the qualifying exam from CBSE/ICSE or any state board in 2019 and wishes to appear in the exam can apply using Code 2 for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test 2024.

• Additionally, candidates must ensure that they passed the Class 12 qualifying examination with the relevant subjects at a minimum level equivalent to a core course.

NEET exam code: 6

• Candidates can select Code 6 from the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test qualification code 2024 as their eligibility code.
• This code can be chosen by any candidate who has taken the B.Sc. examination with at least two subjects passed, including Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, and Chemistry respectively.
• Additionally, these applicants must have passed the English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Class 10+2 qualifying examinations.

NEET qualification code 7:

• Candidates may choose code 7 as their NEET code for 2024.
• This code can be selected if they have passed any other test comparable to the intermediate science exam offered by any university or board.
• It is essential to remember that students must have passed practical exams. Additionally, they should have completed two years of coursework in English, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Physics.

• For Indian candidates to appear in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test 2024, they must be at least 17 years old. For Indian candidates, there is no upper age limit for NEET exams.

• Candidates who are international or OCI who want to take the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test 2024 exam must be at least 17 years old on January 31, 2024. Notably, these candidates have no upper age limit.
• Foreign candidates and OCIs from any nation may apply for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test 2024, subject to the particular eligibility requirements set forth by the NTA for each category.
• A valid passport or OCI card is required for OCI/foreign applicants, in addition to an eligibility certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI). These records are essential to the admissions and application processes.
