UGC NET 2024 June exam dates have been rescheduled on 29th April 2024. The UGC Chief, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, announced this from his social media handle. Due to the aspirant’s heavy demand, the UGC NET 2024 rescheduling for the June session took place. The UGC NET 2024 exam dates clash with the exam dates of the UPSC CSE exam.

After the rescheduling, the UGC NET 2024 June session will be held on 18th June 2024 instead of 16th June 2024. According to the UGC Chief’s post, the notification will be released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in soon.

The dates were changed as the UPSC CSE exam was to be held on the same day as the UGC NET 2024 i.e., on 16th June 2024. Now, after changing the exam schedule, the UGC NET will be held on 18th June 2024.
Rescheduling the Date of the UGC -NET June 2024 Examination (Official Notice)
The UGC NET June 2024 will be conducted in 83 subjects in an OMR sheet (Pen & paper mode). The UGC NET examination is conducted in the aim of determining one’s eligibility for the ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship’. Followed by appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to PhD, only in Indian Universities and colleges.
The notification regarding intimation of the UGC NET June 2024, City of exam Center will be displayed on websites such as ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in. This notification will be issued 10 days before the examination.
UGC Chief’s Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar postponed the June NET exam until 18 June 2024 due to a conflict with UPSC CSE exam.
