Anna University established the Centre for Remote Education in response to the expanding global trend of utilizing self-learning and remote education techniques in addition to traditional university instruction.

Bachelor of Engineering
The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2024) process is now accepting applications for Anna University's BE/BTech program. The registration deadline is June 6, 2024. Candidates can register online at tneaonline.org. For SC/ST/SCA candidates in Tamil Nadu, the registration fee is INR 250; for general candidates, it is INR 500.
Anna University Guidelines for BE Admission:
- TNEA handles the admissions process for BE. Admissions are merit-based, although there isn't an official entrance exam.
- After scoring well, candidates must complete the counselling procedure.
- The form is available on the university's official website.
- A merit list is generated based on 10+2 marks, and college seats are allotted accordingly.
- Candidates can select their preferred college from those affiliated with Anna University.

Master of Business Administration:
Anna University uses the TANCET test for MBA admission. The TANCET 2024 result is available online, and candidates can download their scorecards by May 3, 2024.
Anna University's MBA program is offered in six specializations: Human Resources, Retail, Financial Services, Technology, General, and Health. Admission is based on TANCET scores. Candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate study with at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) to be eligible for the program.
MBA Admissions Process:

Details about the TANCET MBA Exam:
The TANCET MBA is a state-level exam for admission to MBA programs in Tamil Nadu. The exam is scheduled for March 9, 2024, and consists of 120 minutes of pen-and-paper questions. One mark is awarded for each correct answer, while one-third of a mark is deducted for incorrect answers. The question paper will follow a specific syllabus and format.
PhD Admissions:
Anna University PhD Admission 2024 is open for the July 2024 session, with the application deadline on March 9, 2024. The university conducts a written exam and a viva voce interview for admission to the PhD program. Candidates with valid scores in exams like UGC NET or CSIR NET are exempt from the written exam.
PhD programs are offered in science, engineering, management, computer applications, and arts. The program duration is six years, and applications are accepted twice a year.
