- Department Library: The Departmental Library is automated and has over 3,000 volumes on biotechnology, food technology, and pharmaceutical technology, as well as 40 national and international periodical subscriptions. Computer resources are available to access the National Knowledge Network (NKN).
Hostel
Basic facilities at hostels include water purifiers, TVs, common areas, games rooms, mess areas, security, and surveillance systems. For students admitted under the CIWGC, NRI, and FN categories, a special hostel has been built with facilities like microwaves, mini-fridges, geysers, air conditioning, and washing machines in the common areas. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.

The Department of Biotechnology’s DIC, supported by the Indian government's DBT, conducts research in computational biology and bioinformatics. The DIC offers high-performance computing resources and internet access for research purposes.
