Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) provides a five-year MBBS, B.Sc. (3 Specialisations), M.Sc. (13 Specialisations), and MD & MS programs in a variety of specialities. Candidates can apply online by visiting the GMCH's official website and paying the application cost using DD, credit, debit card, or net banking.
- Students who have completed HSC (10+2) with at least 50% are eligible to apply for MBBS and B.Sc. first-year programs.
- MBBS admissions are based on the NEET score.

GMCH Chandigarh MBBS and B.Sc Admission 2025
GMCH Chandigarh admits students to its 5-year MBBS program based on their NEET and qualifying exam scores. GMCH Chandigarh also admits students to a three-year B.Sc. degree based on their achievement in the GCET. To apply online for these programs, the applicant must first go to the Institute's official website.
GMCH Chandigarh MD, MS, and M.Sc Admission 2025
GMCH Chandigarh admits students to the two-year M.Sc. degree based on their performance in the qualifying exams. To apply for the M.Sc. course, you must have a B.Sc. in the required topics with at least 50% in the aggregate. To apply for a three-year MS and MD program, candidates must have a graduation degree in the required fields with at least 50% in aggregate.
Candidates for MD and MS programs must first qualify in NEET PG, followed by college-level counselling for All India and State Level Quota seats.
Note:
- Applicants for the MD/MS program must have satisfactorily completed their internship by March 31 of the current year.
- Before applying for MD/MS courses, candidates must be registered with the MCI/State Medical Council.
- Admission is available through both the All-India Quota and the State Quota.

Candidates can apply online for MBBS, B.Sc, MD, MS, and M.Sc programs by following the instructions below.
- Visit the Institute's official website to complete the online application form.
- Candidates must submit the application fee online or by demand draft made out to Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32 B Chandigarh and payable in Chandigarh. (INR 500 for General and INR 300 for SC categories, plus bank charges.)
- Fill out and print the application form.
- Submit the form and send it to the college, along with the needed fee and photocopies of the documents:
