Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), formerly known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), was established by GERMI as a private university under a State Act. It is located in Raisan village, Gandhinagar, and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
