The test paper for the state-level education common entrance test is divided into three parts viz. All candidates must attempt Part A and Part B. Nevertheless, Part C varies from one candidate to another based on their preferred subject. In Part C of the test, candidates have a choice of five subjects.

AP EDCET marking scheme: One mark is allotted for every correct answer in the exam. There is no negative for an incorrect answer in the exam.

As mentioned in the official notification of the AP EDCET 2025, the question paper will be in English and Telugu languages, except for the English methodology paper.
