Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria

BVP CET 2025 eligibility is a set of rules that must be followed to take the exam. The person must be at least 17 years old and should have completed 10+2 or an equivalent exam. For most courses, a minimum of 50% marks is required in class 12 (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC students). The eligibility may differ based on the course chosen. For example, for B.Tech, the subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in class 12.

Anyone from any nationality can apply, as there is no limit on nationality. There is no upper age limit for the exam. BVP CET 2025 is held every year on different dates for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, LLB, LLM, MBBS, BBA, MSc, and many more. 

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

BVP CET 2025 eligibility rules set by BVP University are as follows:

Nationality:There are no rules about nationality. People from any country can apply for the exam.

Educational Qualification:

• The person must have passed or be appearing for the 12th exam from a recognized school or board.
• A minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) is needed in class 12 or an equal exam.
• Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering & Technology from a recognized institution, having at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) can also apply.
• Mathematics and Physics must be studied in class 12.

Age Limit:There is no age limit to appear for the exam.

BVP CET 2025 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

BVP Deemed University has set eligibility criteria separately for each course that are mentioned in the following sections.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for Medical 

• It is necessary for all the candidates to complete their 17 years of age before or on December 31st, 2025.
• Candidates must qualify Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary education i.e. 10+2 before applying for BVP CET 2025.
• Minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST/OBC: 40% marks) in PCB or Biotechnology in 10+2 are mandatory.
• For the candidates who apply for BHMS have to qualify 10+2 individually in PCB and English as well as must-have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ST 40 % marks) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology considered together.
• Candidates who apply for BAMS have to qualify 12th and have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ ST 40 % marks) in PCB.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for Engineering

• Candidates must qualify Higher Secondary Certificate, Senior Secondary Certificate from any board. 
•  It is mandatory for all the candidates who have applied for the engineering course to qualify Senior Secondary examination with PCM including Biology/biotechnology/ and other optional subjects.
• Candidates have to secure at least 45% marks (40% marks for ST/ SC/ OBC) in Class 12th board examination.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for BCA 

• Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (for SC/ ST it is 40% marks) in their degree course.
• Candidates of any age group may apply for BVP CET 2025.
• It is compulsory that the candidate must be an Indian citizen.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for MCA 

• Candidates of any age group may apply for BVP CET 2025.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks (for SC/ ST it is 40% marks) in their degree course.
• It is mandatory for all the candidates who have applied for MCA (Full Time) to have a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years in any discipline and must have Mathematics in 12th or in graduation.
• Students who have applied for MCA (lateral entry) must possess a Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years with Mathematics in 12th or graduation.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for Dental Course (PG) 

• The student must be of Indian Nationality.
• The aspirant must have qualified a Bachelor Degree i.e. BDS from any reputed college.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of internship experience.
• It is mandatory for all the candidates to permanently register themselves at any State Dental Council or at Dental Council of India.
• It is compulsory for all the candidates to obtain at least 50% marks (for SC/ ST it is 40% marks) in DENPET 2025.

BVP CET 2025 Eligibility for Medical Course (PG)

• Students of Indian nationality can apply for BVP CET 2025.
• A minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in MEDPET 2025 is required.
• All appearing candidates must have completed MBBS from a recognized medical college.
• A one-year internship experience is required before applying for BVP CET 2025.
• Permanent registration with any State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India is mandatory.
• Candidates who completed MBBS from a recognized university abroad must have one-year internship experience in a reputed medical college in India.
