CEED CEED

In March 2025, the authority will hold an offline CEED 2025 exam. Candidates for admission to the various courses offered at institutes. The candidates will shortly be notified of the final deadline by which they must complete and submit the CEED 2025 application form in order to be considered for the examination and admission process. The candidates will not be permitted to take the entrance exam if they do not finish registering for CEED 2025. Once they have finished scheduling a slot, registered candidates will be able to access and obtain the CEED 2025 hall pass. The CEED 2025 result/scorecard will contain the moderated test results from the admission exam. Candidates who meet the requirements must take part in the CEED 2025 counseling process. The order in which seats are assigned will depend on the candidate's preferences, rank, and availability.

What is CEED??

CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design) is an entrance exam conducted for admission to the PhD and the M.Des courses in participating IITs and other Design Schools. For the year 2025, IIT Bombay has announced the notification on the official website.

The exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) majorly to to check the candidates’ aptitude for design involving visual perception , drawing skills, logical reasoning , creativity and communication skills.

CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The CEED exam qualifying criterion for 2025 is released. Applicants seeking to check the requirements for eligibility to CEED 2025 should consult the information brochure . CEED 2025 Registration

The CEED 2025 registration process is expected to begin in the second week of February 2025 and will be conducted online. Here are the steps to register CEED 2025 :

  2. Click on, “CEED Registration” Link
  3. Fill basic & communication details in the application form
  4. Also enter qualification & other asked details in the form.
  5. Proceed to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format
  6. Before fee submission, verify the given details in the form.
  7. Once all details are verified, click on the “Submit” option.
  8. Now a confirmation page will appear on your screen
  9. Take its printout & keep safe till future use.
Following are the application fee for each stream:
  1. The application fee will be non-refundable & non-transferable.
  2. Payment will be done through net banking, debit card, credit card etc.
  3. Apart from application fee, candidates have to pay the processing fees charged by the banks.

CEED 2025 Syllabus

The exam has primarily 2 parts- Part A and Part B. The syllabus of both parts is as follows-

Part A – Visualization and spatial reasoning, Observation and design sensitivity, Analytical and logical reasoning, Creativity, Design methods and practices, Practical and scientific knowledge, Environment and society, Language, Art and Design knowledge etc.

Part B – Drawing, Communication, Creativity, Problem identification etc.

CEED Exam Pattern 2025

  1. Exam Duration: The exam will be conducted in the morning shift, i.e. 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM total 3 hours.
  2. Parts: The exam will have total two parts, i.e. Part A & Part B.
  3. Mode: Part A will be conducted through online mode and Part B will be conducted through offline mode.
  4. Type of Questions: NAT (Numerical Answer Type), MSQ (Multiple Select Questions), MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) will be asked in the exam.
  5. Language: The question papers will be asked in the English language.

Admit Card

CEED Merit List

  3. All candidates' scores are used to prepare for it, with the highest scores coming first and the lowest scores coming last.
  4. The merit list contains your admit card number, All India Rank, and the total number of points you received in the admission exam.

CEED 2025 Cut Off

The authorities will release the CEED 2025 cut off through online mode. Cut off marks are minimum marks required to qualify examination. The direct link to check cut off marks will be updated on the website. After each round of CEED counseling, cut off marks will be released.

Engineering cut off will consist of opening and closing ranks.

It will depend on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, number of qualified candidates in exam, seat availability, and other. Qualified candidates in the exam will be invited to participate in the counseling procedure. After counseling, the final admission will be given to the candidates.
