IIT JAM 2025 Results have been announced on March 18, 2025, on the official website. Candidates can check their results by logging into the JOAPS portal using their credentials. The result displays the marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), and category-wise ranking. The final scores are based on the answer key released by IIT Delhi. The IIT JAM 2025 scorecard will be available for download until March 25, 2025. The exam officials have also released the cut-off marks for all seven subjects. The Top-1 toppers of IIT JAM 2025 (subject-wise) are Tanish Gupta (BT), Suvon Ghosh (CY), Aryan Chandra(EN), Sattwik Majumdar (GG), Archismann Mukherjee (MS), Vikas Choudhary (MA), and Akshat Gupta (PH). Steps to Download IIT JAM 2025 Results
The IIT JAM 2025 Results were announced online at the official website. Candidates can directly check and download their IIT JAM results 2025 from the IIT Delhi JAM website. Follow the simple steps given below to check IIT JAM 2025 results. The steps are given below -
- Visit the official IIT JAM 2025 website.
- Find the Result Link and click on the link that says “IIT JAM 2025 Results.”
- Log using IIT JAM 2025 Enrollment ID and Password in the login section.
- After logging in, the IIT JAM 2025 result will appear on the screen.
- Click on the Download button to save the result as a PDF.
- Take a printout of the IIT JAM result for future reference.
IIT JAM 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria
The IIT JAM 2025 tie-breaking policy for candidates securing the same total score in a Test Paper will be determined in the following order:
- The candidate with lower negative marks will be given priority.
- Secondly, the NAT scores will be taken into account.
- Thirdly, the MSQ marks will be considered.
- Fourthly, the scores in the two-mark questions will be compared.
- Lastly, the scores in the two-mark NAT will be used.
If the tie still remains, the date of birth will be used as a criterion, and the older candidate will be given a higher rank.
- Lower negative marks
- NAT marks - Numerical Answer Type questions
- MSQ marks - Multiple Select Questions
- Score in 2 marks questions
- Score in 2 marks NAT
If the tie still continues after the above criteria, Date of Birth (DOB) will be taken into consideration, and the older candidate will get a better rank.
IIT JAM 2025 Merit List
An All India Merit List will be prepared for every Test Paper on the basis of All India Rank (AIR). The placement of candidates in this Merit List will depend upon the combined number of seats per category (GEN/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ SC/ ST/ PwD) available for a given subject. Qualified Candidates thus identified will be entitled to apply for admission to the concerned academic courses.
- The All India Merit List will be prepared for each Test Paper based on AIR.
- The number of candidates selected for the Merit List shall depend upon the number of seats available in each category GEN/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ SC/ ST/ PwD under that particular subject.
- All such candidates will be deemed Qualified Candidates, who may seek admission in the said programs.
IIT JAM 2025 Scorecard
The JAM 2025 Scorecard includes the All India Rank (AIR) and the score obtained by the candidate. The IIT JAM scorecard can be downloaded from March 25, 2025, to July 31, 2025, from the JAM 2025 website for candidates who have been shortlisted. - Visit the official website at joaps.iitd.ac.in.
- Next, click on the ‘JOAPS Portal’ tab.
- On the JOAPS Portal, enter the Enrollment number/email ID and password.
