Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The Karnataka PGCET 2025 eligibility for the MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech, M.Arch. are as follows:

Course Type Details
MBA Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of recognized Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks are required, and 45% marks for SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). Those opting for Part-time MBA are also required to have prior 3 years of work experience as of July 31, 2025.
MCA Candidates passing out with a BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree are applicable for MCA. Passing with B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A. with Mathematics at 10 + 2 or Graduation level, having 50% aggregate marks are also considered. Reserved category candidates, like SC, ST, and Category-I require 45% marks.
M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch Students require a valid GATE score or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 50% aggregate marks. Minimum 45% aggregate marks required by SC, ST, and Category-I candidates.Students applying for Part time courses must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as of July 31, 2025.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Process

The Karnataka PGCET 2025 application form will be available on the official website starting April 25, 2025. If the form has incorrect or false information, it will not be accepted. Students should fill out the form carefully and accurately based on the course they choose. To complete the form, go to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ and register by providing details like name, gender, date of birth, academic information, exam center preference, and uploading a scanned photo, signature, and left thumb impression.

After finishing the registration, an application number will be provided. This number, along with the password, can be used to log in to the exam portal later.
