The KCET 2025 examinations for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology will be held tomorrow on April 16 and 17, 2025, in two shifts - from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, and from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. This year, 3.75 lakh candidates have registered for KCET, which will be conducted at 75 centres across Karnataka. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducted the KCET 2025 Kannada language test today, April 15.
Candidates appearing for KCET 2025 must carry the KCET 2025 Admit card, a valid photo ID, a recent passport-sized photograph, and a blue or black ballpoint pen; must not bring electronic devices, bags, study material, food items (except a transparent water bottle), or jewelry; must follow the dress code by wearing simple clothes without layers, large buttons, or accessories, and prefer open footwear; and must adhere to exam day guidelines including arriving early, sitting as per the seating plan, filling details accurately, and maintaining discipline, as any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
KCET, or the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). This exam is conducted for admission to various courses, such as Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Veterinary courses, and Farm Science, in the colleges of Karnataka. Candidates who want to be admitted to Medical, Dental, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda or Unani courses through KCET must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, which is commonly known as the NEET 2025 exam. Similarly, candidates who wish to be admitted into the architecture courses through the KCET exam should have qualified for the NATA exam or the JEE Main Paper-2 exam to be eligible to participate in the KCET counselling process.

The Karnataka Examination Authority closed the KCET 2025 Application window on Feb 24, 2025. The KCET 2025 application process consists of four stages, which are KCET 2025 registration, form filling, document uploading, and application fee payment. The KCET application form 2025 was available online only for all candidates. It is recommended that the candidates check all the information entered before they submit the KCET 2025 application form. The officials will not allow any candidate to change the information they entered once they submit their KCET application form. Candidates are also advised to fill out the KCET application form at least 4 to 5 days before the deadline to avoid any payment failure issues at the last moment. The authority will notify the KCET 2025 application form end date later.

KEA has released KCET Admit Card 2025 on April 6, 2025, at the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download the KCET Hall Ticket 2025 using their registration number and password. After downloading the hall ticket, candidates must go through all the details provided in the admit card. In case of any discrepancies, they must report to the conducting authority.

Each paper of the KCET 2025 exam is conducted for a total duration of 80 minutes, and each section consists of 60 questions. There is no negative marking against any wrong answer in the exam. KCET exam pattern 2025 is listed in the table below.

Candidates who are preparing for the KCET 2025 exam must follow the tips below to prepare for the KCET exam.
KCET 2025 result will be released online by the Karnataka Examination Authority, the conducting body of KCET, on its official website. The applicants who will appear for the KCET exam can access their KCET 2025 results at kea.kar.nic.in. The candidates should enter their login credentials in order to check their KCET results in 2025. The login credentials consist of the candidate's registration number and the first four letters of the candidate's name. The Karnataka CET results will be available in online mode. The scorecard of the KCET 2025 consists of the subject-wise individual scores, the candidate's rank, the candidate's personal details and some other information. The candidates who are qualified based on their KCET 2025 results will be invited for the KCET counselling process. Along with the release of the KCET 2025 results, the Karnataka Examination Authority will also release the KCET toppers list 2025.
KCET answer key is anticipated to be made available by KEA the day following the test. The KCET 2025 answer key includes the right responses to every question posed throughout the test. Before the results are announced, applicants are encouraged to use the KCET answer key 2025 to determine their anticipated score. Additionally, until a certain date, KEA will permit applicants to voice concerns about the KCET answer key. Candidates must email their objections to authorities along with the supporting documents. After reviewing all the objections, KEA will release the KCET final answer key and the results declaration.

KEA will launch the KCET 2025 online counselling on its official website. Candidates who have been deemed qualified by their results can take part in the 2025 KCET counselling process. First, candidates must register for KCET counselling through the login window. Upon successfully registering, candidates need to fill out the KCET option entry. KEA will announce the 2025 KCET seat allocation results based on the candidates' selections.

The KCET 2025 examination will be conducted from April 15 to April 17, 2025. The Kannada language test is scheduled for April 15 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the subject papers – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology – will be held on April 16 and 17 in two shifts, from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM and from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM.
Candidates appearing for KCET 2025 must carry the required documents to the exam centre. Items such as electronic gadgets, study material, food items (except transparent water bottles), bags, and jewellery are strictly prohibited.
Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code for KCET 2025. Simple clothes without layers, large buttons, or accessories should be worn. Open footwear is preferred, and strict adherence to the dress code is mandatory.
A total of 3.75 lakh candidates have registered for KCET 2025, which will be conducted at 75 centres across Karnataka.
To be eligible for BTech through KCET 2025, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks for the general category and 40% for reserved categories. For BPharma, the eligibility is also a pass in Class 12 with 45% marks for general and 40% for reserved categories.
Separate qualifying exams are required for certain professional courses. Admission to Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses through KCET requires an NEET qualification. For admission to Architecture courses, candidates must have appeared for NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 to be eligible for counselling.
The KCET 2025 admit card can be downloaded from the official KEA website. Candidates must visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea, click on the KCET 2025 Admit Card link, enter the first four letters of their name and password, and download the hall ticket.
KCET 2025 will have no negative marking. Each subject paper will contain 60 questions, with one mark awarded for every correct answer. The Kannada language test will consist of 50 questions for 50 marks, also without any negative marking.
