Admission process of ACET

Admission to ACET and selection process designed to ensure the selection process of candidates who demonstrate in both exam and eligibility for their chosen field.

The criteria for admission depend on the level of education and chosen course but generally include merit and entrance-based assessments.

Application Process:-

  1. Candidates must visit the admission website https://www.anjumanengg.edu.in/departments.php . The candidates are required to register online with the college, fill out the application form, and pay the requisite application fees.
  2. Applicants will be informed about the Online/Offline Selection Procedure via email/SMS that you would need to attend on the Scheduled Date and Time.
  3. Selected candidates will fill Rastrakoot Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University(M.S.) admission form and documents will be submitted for further processing to the University.
  4. On the confirmation form , the candidate will pay course fees at the portal.

Merit list preparation:-

  • A merit list will be prepared for each program based on the aggregate scores of all four components of the selection criteria, with the reservation policy of the Institute.
  • Individual selection intimation letters will be sent by email to all selected candidates.
  • Waitlisted or denied candidates shall not receive any communication from the Institute. They must get in touch with the admission counselor and get an update.
  • If a candidate is upgraded to the selected list, individual selection letters will be sent to the candidates.
  • Payment can be made through Demand Draft/Cheque payable to Principal Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur or can also be done through Debit/Credit Card, RTGS, NEFT (Cash payment will not be accepted). Receipt against cheque will be issued after clearance of the cheque. in case of cheque bounce fine of Rs. 1000/- will be imposed per transaction.

  2. Valid GATE Score Card (for M. Tech)
  3. HSSC Mark-Sheet
  4. SSC Mark-Sheet
  5. Diploma Mark-sheet (First Semester to Final Semester) (If Appeared) (for Direct 2nd Year)
  6. B.Sc. Mark-sheet (if applicable)
  7. Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC)
  8. Nationality certificate/ TC mentioning the nationality as -˜Indian'.
  9. Domicile Certificate / Birth Certificate/ TC mentioning the place of Birth.
  10. Caste Certificate (If reserved category)
  11. Caste Validity Certificate (If reserved category)
  12. Non- Creamy layer Certificate (For OBC/VJ(DT)-NT/SBC Valid up to 31st March 2024)
  13. Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  14. Eligibility Certificate issued from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. (if applicable)
  15. Gap Certificate (if applicable)
  16. Proforma-O/ TC mentioning the religion as -˜Muslim' (For minority Candidates)
  17. Dist. Magistrate Certificate (For Scholarship holder)
  18. CAP Allotment Letter (For CAP Students)
  19. Aadhar Card
  20. Sponsor certificate (if applicable)

Eligibility criterion for various courses of ACET-

Candidates are admitted solely on the basis of their performance on the merit examinations. In order to be admitted to the master's program at the institute, students must receive at least 55 percent of the possible points. Candidates are expected to review the following table for more information:

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023

OR

Passed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
