ASM's Institute of Business Management and Research (ASM IBMR) was created in 1983 and is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune. ASM IBMR, located in Pune, Maharashtra, currently offers a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in three specialisations at the postgraduate level, as well as a Ph.D. in research.

 

Students who have completed their graduation in any field with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible for MBA admission.

Applicants having a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject and at least two years of professional experience are eligible for Ph.D. admission.

For admission to any PGDM, the candidate must have completed a Graduation Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 45% marks.

DTE, Maharashtra has a centralised admissions process for MBA students.

Candidates for admission to the PhD program are selected based on a written test and an interview.

Admission to the Post Graduate Diploma program is based on the candidate's academic performance and interview.

The application form for each course can be submitted either online or offline. The fee will be paid with a demand draft.

ASM is the only Indian Institute that has signed an enterprise partnership with Harvard Business School to give programs to students.

ASM IBMR Pune PGDM and MBA Admissions 2025

 

ASM's Institute of Business Management and Research offers PGDM programs in three specialisations in collaboration with reputable firms. The intake capacity for PGDM Dual Specialisation is 120, while for PGDM Emerging Technologies and PGDM Agribusiness it is 60 each. Candidates who have earned a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) and have a valid CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT/ATMA score are eligible for admission to the PGDM programme.

 

In addition, the institute provides an MBA dual specialisations degree with a total of 360 seats. Candidates who have passed Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) in any discipline and have valid CAT/CMAT/MHMBACET score are considered eligiblige for the MBA program.

 

Following selection, the candidate may take admission within the time frame specified by paying the tuition costs and submitting the necessary documents in genuine. Candidates can submit the application form in person, by mail, or by downloading it and attaching it to their 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets, entrance exam score card, and picture ID evidence.

The institute provides a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program with 60 seats available. Candidates having a postgraduate degree in a relevant area and at least two years of work or teaching experience are considered qualified for admission to the Ph.D. program.

Pay the INR 1200 application fee by Demand Draft to the Director of ASM IBMR payable in Pune.
