Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) based in Bangalore, established in the year of 1955 by mysore educational society led by Dr. R. Shivaram, Dr.Mekhri, Dr. B.K. Narayana Rao and Dr. B.V. Ramaswamy.it became a government institute under the affiliation of mysore university 1957. Later on from 1996, it got affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS) Bangalore.Also, it is approved by the medical council of india. The College offers programs like UG, speciality courses and PG. For these programs it offers different courses which include MBBS,BSc Nursing,MS,MD,DM etc in various courses and in various departments. Every year, it offers around 500+ seats for eligible students.The college provides Facilities like well maintained classrooms, museums, auditoriums, hostels, canteen,medical labs for every department , Gym, sports complex , library full of available books and many others.

For super speciality courses like DM in several disciplines, the candidates require good merit in graduation and a valid NEET SS exam score.
