Calcutta University Admissions
Calcutta University admissions to all UG and PG programs are based on merit and entrance examination. Admissions to UG courses such as BA, B.Sc, and B.Com are based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. Calcutta University conducts its entrance examination for admission to PG courses including B.Ed, BALLB, LLM, etc. Calcutta University offers admission to BTech, MBA, MCA, and MTech based on WBJEE/JEE Main, CAT/MAT/XMAT/JEMAT , WB-JECA, and GATE scores respectively. The final selection for all courses is done through a counselling process conducted by the university and the seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the entrance examination.
