Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, in 2001, is a leading educational institution in Punjab. It was ranked 3rd among private colleges in Punjab according to the Times B School Rankings 2024. In the NIRF 2023 rankings, it achieved 86th place in Pharmacy and 101-150 in Engineering. CGC Landran provide over 55 courses across seven fields: Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Pharmacy, and Hotel Management. CGC Landran Admission
To get into the B.Tech program at CGC Landran, students from Punjab need a good score on the JEE Main exam. applicants from other states can get in based on their 10+2 marks and need to attend a counseling session. For the B.Pharm program, students can use their JEE Main score or take the PTU CET exam. Admissions for B.Tech (Lateral), B.Sc, BBA, BCA, BHMCT, and BTTM courses are based on the merit and require PTU counseling. To apply into the M.Tech program, students need a good GATE score or good marks in their BE/B.Tech and must also attend PTU counseling. For the MBA program, students need a valid Punjab MET score and good marks in their graduation. For MSc, MCA, MPharm, and BEd programs, entry are based on the marks from their last passed exam.

Online Mode:
- Visit to the CGC Website: go the official CGC website and complete the application form.
- Upload Documents: Upload a scanned copy of your most significant papers as well as a passport-sized photo.
- Pay the Fee: Pay the application fee of INR 1000 using a Credit or Debit card.
- Submit Original Documents: After registering online, send all your original documents and the admission letter to the college to confirm your place.
Offline Mode:
- Get the Form: You can get the application form from the CGC campus.

CGC Landran Placements
CGC Landran has been very successful at helping students get great jobs. The college is known for being really good at setting up job opportunities with big companies and even the Army, Navy, and Airforce. CGC Landran has top facilities and regularly helps students improve their job skills by testing them with well-known companies.
The college’s Placement Office (called CRC) helps with finding job opportunities. They contact companies, set up job fairs, and update students about upcoming job chances on the notice board and the college website. They also give the details on what students need to know for each job fair. After the job fairs, CRC announces who got the jobs on the notice board and website.
In 2023, CGC Landran did great with job placements. More than 800 companies offered over 8,500 job opportunities to the students. The highest salary offered was INR 45.5 lakh per year. Some of the big companies that hired students include Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, Dell, Capgemini, IBM, Genpact, and Google.

In 2021, it got the National Employability Award from Aspiring Mind and was named the Most Promising Engineering College in India by Asia Today Research & Media and PERSON.
