The entire admissions process is according to the guidelines issued by the CIT. The final admission to the program will be given based purely on the class XIIth marks (aggregate of all subjects). Candidates should have followed the below mentioned steps to apply for the admission.
In the Undergraduate program the admission will be based on the score obtained in the class 12th examination. Candidates should have met the merit criteria released by the Institute.
For postgraduate programs the admission will be based on the marks obtained in the TANCET exam, which is conducted by the Anna University, Chennai. The qualified candidates should have appeared in the TANCET counselling session to get admission in CIT.
To appear in the counselling session candidates should have to register themselves on the TNEA website.
Admission in the undergraduate program will depend upon the score obtained in the class 12th examination. The eligible candidates can apply for their interested programs.
Selection procedureAdmission to the postgraduate programs will depend upon the marks obtained by the candidates in the TANCET exam.
