The College of Architecture Trivandrum (CAT) started in 2011 is a leading Kerala institution focused on transforming architectural and design academic practices. CAT is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University through which it offers an academic experience focused on creativity alongside innovation and practical education. Students have access to advanced facilities alongside accomplished faculty who prepare them for success while working in an evolving market.

The undergraduate programs at CAT prepare students by providing firm knowledge of Architecture alongside Design fundamental principles. The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programs combine theoretical instruction with practical learning. So, students gain an extensive understanding of design fundamentals and sustainable construction principles. The university teaches students to tackle industry challenges through modern technological approaches, up-to-date design principles, and sustainable construction practices throughout its curriculum.

CAT uses its systematic admission framework to train students with academic abilities and creative competencies for development. Students wanting admission to the B.Arch. program requires NATA exam eligibility and B.Des. program applicants need to pass any of these approval tests: UCEED, NID, NIFT, or KS-DAT. Through a transparent admission process based on individual merit, CAT provides every eligible applicant the opportunity to succeed within evolving design and architecture domains.
