Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University has many different types of AICTE scholarships on offer. These programs are designed to help bright students with financial support. In order to apply for a scholarship, an aspiring candidate must meet the relevant eligibility criteria for the particular scholarship program.

Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Specially Abled Students

• Saksham is implemented by AICTE as a MHRD scheme.
• Aim to provide support for differently abled children to pursue technical education.
• Total Number of Scholarships: 1000 per Annum ( 500 for Degree and 500 for Diploma)
• The scholarship can be transferred. If there is no availability of the eligible candidate
• In order to avail of this scholarship, the students should be admitted from the first year of the degree/diploma course in an AICTE-approved institute.
• Amount of scholarship: tuition fee of Rs. 30,000/- or at actual, whichever is less, and Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidental charges each year. In case of tuition fee waiver or reimbursement, students are eligible to get an amount of Rs. 30,000/-.
• Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.

Document Required

1. Mark a sheet of 10 and 10+2.
2. Annual family income certificate
3. Disability certificate issued by Competent Authority
4. Admission letter issued by the Directorate of Technical Education for the admission in the diploma/degree course.
5. Certificate issued by the director/principal/head of the institute.
6. Tuition fee receipt.
7. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC category.
8. AADHAR card.
9. Declaration by parents duly signed stating that the information provided by their child is correct and will refund the scholarship amount if found false at any stage.

PRAGATI (Scholarship for Girl Students)

• Aimed to provide encouragement for Girl child to purse technical education
• Number of scholarships per annum: 4000
• It is applicable for ‘one girl’ in a family, but if the family income is less than 8 lakhs, it can be extended to TWO girls in a family.
• In order to avail of this scholarship, the students should be admitted from the first year of the degree/diploma course in an AICTE-approved institute.
• Amount of scholarship: tuition fee of Rs. 30000/- or at actual, whichever is less, and Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.
• Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.
