The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by NTA for all UG and PG programs, is the basis for Deshbandhu College Admission 2024. To be admitted to the undergraduate program, candidates must pass the CUET UG exam, and to be considered for the graduate program, they must pass the CUET PG exam. The University of Delhi (DUET) entrance test was once accepted for admission to the postgraduate program, however as of the academic year 2023, it has been terminated. Eligible candidates for all UG and PG programs must register at the University of Delhi Admissions Portal, admission.uod.ac.in, when the CUET results are released.It will be necessary for additional candidates to indicate which program and college they choose.
Deshbandhu College UG Admission 2024
The departments of commerce, arts, and science of Deshbandhu College in Delhi offer undergraduate studies. In UG courses, the college offers seats set aside for ST, SC, and OBC applicants. Thirty-seven percent of seats are set aside for OBC, fifteen percent for SC, and five percent for ST. All candidates who fall under the reserved category will be admitted directly to the institution depending on the college's cutoffs.

Deshbandhu College UG Selection Process
The university administers CUET exams, which are followed by rounds of e-counselling, to determine who gets to enroll in UG courses. It will be necessary for candidates who pass their CUET exams to sign up for online counseling. After the two rounds of e-counselling, candidates will be able to select the college they want to attend. Additionally, there are three components in the CUET exam:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
- Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
- Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.
Deshbandhu College UG Application Process
Admission dates are declared by the Delhi University. The university opens a common UG application portal where candidates can submit their applications. Below is the explained process:
- It is required of candidates to register on the shared application platform.
- Candidates can start filling out the online application form with their credentials after registering.
- As there will be no opportunity for revisions, candidates must carefully complete the online application form.
- It is recommended that candidates choose their college and courses wisely for undergraduate programs.
- When submitting the form, candidates must include certain papers, such as a photo, signature, and identification documentation.
- The online application form will not be taken into consideration if the application fee is not paid at the time of submission by the candidates.
- To view any new updates, college cutoffs, and other information, candidates can log onto their portals.
- Candidates who are accepted must report to the college where the cutoff percentage is met. Candidates will be required to carry some documents with them such as Character certificate, provisional certificate, self attested photocopies of all the documents submitted above, class 11 and 12 original marksheets, etc.
