Admission:-
Candidates are admitted to DGMC Mumbai through both merit and entrance-based. Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies offers UG, PG, Diploma, and short-term certificate courses. This college program is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. This college conducts a written test for MA and PG programs.

Admission guidelines for the Master’s program:-
Students seeking admission to the college for a master’s degree course must accomplish the following:
- The written test: the college conducts a test consisting of a written examination. Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree shall be eligible to appear for this examination. The student shall be given four questions/statements to debate and discuss.
- The interview: each candidate will be given three minutes to present himself and clearly state his purpose and motivation for doing the course. The student will be assessed for language, presentation, clarity of purpose, and overall impression.

Training & Placement Cell (TAP)-
DGMC’s training & placement cell- TAP is primarily responsible for ensuring that students across all courses are provided with the necessary training to ensure they are equipped with the right skill set to be placed upon their exit from the college.
The process encompasses three stages:-
Stage 1:- Basic
In the first stage, students get the basic modalities of the training skills. Topics such as public speaking, introduction to soft skills, and got a live project to work on.
Stage 2:- Intermediate
In this stage, candidates will be got the opportunity to explore internships based on specialisation. Students should be able to understand the principle of effective workplace communication, effectively using various written workplace documents such as business letters, emails, and phone messages.
Stage 3:- Advance
