UGC is seeking nominations from higher education institutions for NEP SAARTHI (Student Ambassador for Academic Reformas in Transforming Higher Education in India).
The objective for nominations of DTU NEP SAARTHI;
- Raise Awareness : Promote understanding of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 initiatives among students on campus.
- Encourage Participation : Motivate students to engage in the implementation of NEP 2020 initiatives actively.
- Feedback Mechanism : Establish a system for the University Grants Commission (UGC) to gather feedback on the impact of NEP 2020 initiatives, addressing student concerns effectively.
The roles and responsibilities of NEP SAARTHI;
- Conduct awareness drives about the various initiatives of NEP 2020 every semester in Higher education Institutions (HEIs).
- Organize the activities (debates, discussions, competitions, quizzes, and Nukkad takes) as per the UGC NEP SAARTHIs activities calendar and other activities as asked by the UGC from time to time.
Recognition of SAARTHI;
At the end of 1 year, the HEI will award a certificate of participation as SAARTHI, subject to satisfactory performance
