East Point Group of Institutions is a prominent institution established in East Bangalore. The organisation was started as a primary school institution in 1998, and other engineering discipline was established parallel to the school in 1999. East Point Group of Institutions started its journey with the first batch of 16 students, which ultimately became a fully-fledged school within a few years and got recognition by the Government of Karnataka.
In the present scenario, this group of institutions has expanded its empire in various disciplines like higher education, commerce and management courses, and master's degrees. The latest update has opened a medical discipline successfully with a new 150-student batch added recently.
Facilities are updated according to the requirements of the curriculum and student participation. To launch diverse disciplines on the campus, the institute launched a medical college in 2014 with an extension of a 700-bed hospital with world-class facilities. The medical discipline is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Health University.
The UGC and NAAC bodies recognised colleges. Major courses of the university are affiliated with Banglore University (except medical courses). Technical courses are inclined with AICTE to provide a standard education system.

EPGI Admission to the flagship M.Tech program is based on the GATE or KMAT exams. EPGI accepts applications for undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programs in a variety of areas, including engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and management.

Admission to BBA requires a grade point average of at least 40% in 10+2 in any stream.
For admission to B.Tech, candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Science as a compulsory subject, as well as valid COMEDK UGET or KCET scores.
For admission to the MBA program, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least a 50% GPA and a valid KPGCET score.

EPGI Bangalore Admission Dates 2025
Admissions forms are commenced every after the result announcement of board exams. Undergraduate program admissions are available from July to October. During this period, students must fill out online/offline forms with valid documents, after which the management team provides merit-based admissions.
Master degree program admissions are commenced from October to January. Diploma course admission forms are available parallel to undergraduate programs.

Hostel facilities are available in the campus area. Hostel rules are strictly followed, and attendance is taken four times daily. The hostel provides well-furnished rooms with tasty food. Hostels provide better mess service for both veg and non-veg students separately. Boys and girls are separated and maintained accordingly. Hostel fees are divided into parts - Hostel room fees and mess fees. Also, 5% GST is applied according to taxation laws. Rooms are rented based on individual choice. Candidates can live alone (single bed) or with 2, 4, 6 person sharing. Fees are almost the same for boys and girls. This room's fee is charged accordingly, as depicted in the following table.
